Located at the premier retail center, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, CMX Cinemas Downtown Palm Beach Gardens 16 (formerly Cobb Downtown at the Gardens 16) provides moviegoers the opportunity to enjoy the magic of cinema with luxury reserved reclining seating , cutting edge digital technology, a full-service concession stand and full bar.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Management on specific areas to be cleaned.
- Mop and sweep floor areas including auditoriums, lobby, restrooms, projection booth, etc. while using appropriate signage.
- Manages cleanliness and appearance of facility carpets in auditoriums and throughout the facility. (Vacuum, gum removal, etc.).
- Wipe and polish designated areas like handrails, seats, door handles, etc.
- Cleans facility including auditoriums, seats, arcade area, restrooms, lobby area, etc.
- Ensures that office areas, stock rooms, and projection booth are organized (if instructed only by General Manager).
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organized (mops, brooms, dustpans, etc.). Notify management if more supplies are needed.
- Conducts a detailed cleanliness inspection of the facility and provides any feedback of issues to the General Manager.
- Restocks and replaces any restroom supplies (Urinal screens, toilet paper, etc.).
- Cleans restrooms, including mirrors, dryers, air vents, etc
- Safely mixes and uses only approved chemicals by CMX Cinemas.
- Removes and replaces all trash can liners throughout the facility.
- Disposes of trash in dumpster or compactor. If compactor, compacts trash.
- Takes apart and cleans specific food and beverage equipment as directed.
- Works on other appointed duties as required/requested.
Qualifications
- 1 year of cleaning or janitorial experience.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work variable hours as needed including weekends and holidays.
- Time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Adequately uses protective equipment while completing specific tasks.
