Communication Manager - CSR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 

CSR program development and management

• Lead high impact CSR programs, including rural revitalization and young health programs
• Develop relationship with NGOs, lead stakeholder consultation to identify social impacts opportunities, and work with partners to develop program annual plan to support China priorities
• Complete due process to  ensure programs fully compliant with company requirements and processes
• Monitor program progress and manage NGO partners to ensure execution on track
• Measure and report on program outcomes using KPIs to assess impacts
• Stay updated on global and local CSR trends and best practices, propose innovative solution to enhance CSR performance

Volunteer campaign implementation and employee engagement

• Develop annual volunteer plan aligned with China sustainability/CSR priorities
• Supervise and manage the local team’s plan aligned with China strategy and priorities
• Set up clear measure process to review local activities
• Promote volunteer activities among employees and develop mechanisms to encourage leaders and employees to participate
• Secure funding of volunteer activities through internal partnerships

CSR impact communications

• Develop CSR network and impact deliver platforms
• Promote AZ’s responsible image
• Support annual sustainability impact preparation
• Support communication team to refresh AZ.com and prepare other CSR related communication materials

Other sustainability events support

Support sustainability events on corporate communication platforms including BFA, CIIE, CISCE etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Academic / Professional qualification 

• University degree and above;     
• Social science/Environmental science/sustainability, or related subject is a plus.

Technical / skills training 

• Good English skills in spoken, writing and editing of a high standard;
• Good computer skills and MS office skills
• Good project management, communication and interpersonal skill.
• Good problem solving skills
• Understanding of global & local sustainability standards

Working experience

Essential      

• At least 5 years’ of CSR/sustainability experience in MNCs or consulting firms
• Proven track record in designing and delivering impactful CSR programs
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscape and strong influencing skills to drive results

Desirable  

• Experience in working in healthcare industry
• Experience in working in multinational company
• Long-term career development in sustainability/CSR
• NGO Partner management experience
