Support Private Banking Officers in servicing all client needs. As a key point of contact, they are timely and professional in their approach to client support. Working directly with clients, Private Banking Assistants handle routine maintenance and research, as well as acquire information needed to complete loan and deposit requests. Effectively handles phone calls for Private Banking Officers and communicates with clients directly as needed. Expertise in retail and mortgage lending products/software, as well as retail deposit origination is crucial.

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE
Private Banking Assistants provide a high level of personal service, integrity, expertise, teamwork and follow-up. As part of a team of financial professionals, Private Banking Assistants refer clients to other teammates, such as Wealth & Asset, Commercial Lending, Treasury Management and Retail Banking, as well as follow up with referrals from other teammates. Has effective conversations with clients, teammates, support staff, COIs, Regional Presidents, management and other business partners, such as Realtors, settlement agents, attorneys and accountants.

FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Collaborates with Private Banking Officers, Private Banking operations team and management to ensure that accurate documentation has been received. Works with Officers and clients to clear deficiencies and exceptions. Accountable to individual and team service standards, policies and procedures. Without sacrificing accuracy, this position requires a sense of urgency, the ability to appropriately prioritize efforts and a focus on timeliness in a fast-paced setting.

Private Banking Assistants possess a high degree of technical abilities. Candidates should have significant training and expertise in mortgage and retail lending, deposit origination, compliance, software, and customer service. Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred. A proven knowledge of retail and mortgage lending, as well as deposit origination is required. Successful completion of required background checks is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn core software system, loan and deposit origination software, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, as well as other software typically utilized in the banking industry.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve exciting problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers as well as travel to clients for one-on-one meetings.
