Job Overview
Perform operational 1st article, in-process, and receiving inspection of machined parts and assemblies. Document and perform AS9102 first article inspections on complex parts and assemblies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to perform CMM inspections using CMM-Manager and PC-DMIS.
- Perform surface plate layout and inspection of machined parts and assemblies.
- Perform First Article, In-process, Receiving and Final Inspection.
- Perform gaging set-up in support of shop production
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a minimum of five years' experience as an inspector in machine shop setting.
- Familiar with AS9100, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, word, etc.)
- Must be fully knowledgeable and able to use and set basic inspection measurement hand tools and instrumentation (eg: dial bores, depth misc, etc.)
- Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings that include GD&T and knowledge of ANSI drawing standards.
- This is a production inspection position in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
