What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Procurement Manager position at CNET?
The IT Procurement Manager will play an important role in increasing the impact the procurement team has at RV . This person will help support, execute, and develop the full source-to-pay cycle becoming well versed in all aspects.
What You'll Do :
- Oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals of existing contracts, from requirements gathering to payment
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including legal, accounting, and compliance to ensure procurement processes are efficient, transparent, and effective
- Partner with tech and business leaders to ensure costs are appropriately allocated
- Identify opportunities for consolidation and cost savings by analyzing company-wide spending patterns
- Provide input on procurement strategies to ensure continuous improvement, compliance standards are met, effective vendor selection, and value for the organization’s investments
- Provide mentorship to procurement team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, efficiency, and innovation
- Conduct in depth cost analysis and effective negotiations to secure favorable agreements
