CNO is seeking a Sr QA Automation Engineer that is part of the development and QA team and is responsible for the quality of the delivered products. This role will provide support with planning, creation, execution and reporting of test plans and scenarios and building the automation test scripts using the approved automation frameworks. The QA Automation II Engine will be responsible for the performance and load testing of the applications using various performance testing suites. Also help developers with whitebox/unit Testing. This role provides support for both manual and automation testing and works with the team to ensure the quality of product delivery.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

As a Sr QA Automation Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure software quality is compliant with product functional specification by performing manual and automated test plans and test cases for component, sanity, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Define and write test plans and test cases based on the product’s functional specifications and business rules
- Develop and maintain the automation test scripts using the company’s approved automation testing frameworks.
- Interpret and report test results, document defects and bugs, and perform analysis to determine the cause and procedure to reproduce the issue.
- Maintain the test case database using the company-approved software, update test cases and test scripts when required by product enhancements and new functionalities.
- Determine which test to automate scripting and prioritize.
- Create the performance testing scenarios, run the performance test using the approved framework and report the comparison results to the team to identify the product performance bottlenecks and work on the resolution plans.
- Support and guide QA Automation I Engineer, review the test cases and code-review the automation scripts.
- Responsible for all aspects of functional and performance testing for a variety of software development projects regarding automation.
- Become SME for applications test scripts. Subject Matter Expert in 1- 3 product test domain.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the STLC.
- Possess advanced knowledge in manual web/mobile/ and API testing practices
- Work with handling data, collecting, and documenting test requirements
- Utilize tools, writing, and executing the automation test scripts.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company-approved automation testing framework (Selenium Web Driver or SahiPro)
- Understand automation testing methodologies and programming languages required by the company-used automation frameworks (JavaScript, PHP, Java).
- Use the performance testing frameworks (LoadRunner, JMeter), creating, and executing the performance testing scenarios and interpreting the results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a software QA position and a minimum of 5 years of the QA Automation experience.
