CNR Operations is a family office focused on developing real estate and portfolio companies in the energy, logistics, and waste management sectors. We are focused on growth in the Texas Gulf Coast and broader South and Central Texas region. We are seeking a Chief of Staff to drive our strategic initiatives within our growing organization.
About the Role :
The Chief of Staff is a senior-level strategic partner that will work directly with the CEO and executive leadership to define, communicate and support their key priorities, and for driving alignment, clarity, and accountability across the organization. The right candidate will possess the skills and experience to integrate themselves into the organization quickly and assess issues that serve as barriers to the organization operating at maximum effectiveness.
Requirements :
- Key Initiatives Execution : Drive the execution of critical initiatives and partnerships, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and accountability partner for the CEO.
- Enable rapid, well-informed decision-making for the CEO by filtering, aggregating, and organizing data from key sources and presenting them in a digestible, objective, and actionable format.
- Act as an extension of the CEO, understanding long-term strategy and attending meetings to guide decision-making and delegate tasks and projects to individuals best positioned to complete them.
- Proactively address pressing business issues and take the initiative to own unique projects that might not neatly fit into the existing organizational structure.
- Work with the leadership team to identify opportunities to improve alignment, increase cross-functional collaboration, streamline policies and procedures, and support executing strategic priorities.
- Own and continuously improve the organization’s operating cadence (e.g., team meetings, goal-setting workshops, quarterly and annual reviews, leadership offsites, etc.).
- Prepare and facilitate leadership meetings; set agendas, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations, and capturing and ensuring meaningful follow-up and completion of action items.
- Drive the importance of confidentiality and discretion across the organization.
- Office out of San Antonio or Austin
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, and / or relocate during special projects.
