Primary Responsibilities :
Drive new business of SCM (Sioux Chief Manufacturing) products per company sales plan and goalsCultivate mutually beneficial relationships by calling on Contractors, Engineers, and DistributorsMechanical Contractors - drive demand from the bottom
Mechanical Engineers - secure specifications driving demand from the topConduct Product Training to help drive brand awareness, specifications, and demandQualify and quantify leads from SCM subscribed lead service(s)Guide and advise engineers on all technical aspects of SCM products.Have excellent product knowledge of Sioux Chief products.Guide and advise contractors on installation methods and techniques.Travel as needed (75%) in assigned territory to ensure maximum results and to meet the objectives of the sales plan and sales goals establishedPerform project take-offs and generate quotes - provide other technical information as necessaryComplete all reporting as required, both Sales Calls and ExpensesIdentification of, and strategy development for pursuing target accountsSecondary / Other Responsibilities :
Attend trade shows to market and position SCM as an industry leaderAssist other SCM personnel, RSM (Regional Sales Manager), and RSS (Regional Sales Support) as needed. This may include direct communication and / or face-to-face interactions with :Plumbing Distributors
Plumbing / Mechanical ContractorsPlumbing / Mechanical EngineersLegacy Sioux Chief Representative Agency NetworkGathering competitive market intel to enhance the understanding of our strengths and weaknessesRequirements
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred and sales experience, preferably in the plumbing industryMust work well in a team environment, contributing ideas and sharing best practices with the Sales TeamMust exhibit excellent oral and written communication skillsDetail-oriented and possess excellent organization and time management skillsProficiency in MS Office applicationsProficiency in CRM systemsTravel - Most travel will be within the respective territory.
