The Business Office Coordinator / Train will not only be a front facing team member but will also provide operational and system training to Business Office representatives team members.
Business Office Coordinator / Trainer Responsibilities :
Answer and screen telephone calls in a courteous manner, and triage messages for Physicians, APP’s and other personnel in the EMR.
Schedule patient appointments according to established policies and procedures.
Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure all registration information is complete.
Collect and reconcile patient payments on a daily basis.
Key point person for questions, concerns in the day-to-day operations at the front desk and in the call center and assists with daily coordination of staffing throughout the department.
Train front-end personnel on operational procedures as well as use of EMR.
Assist the Business Office Manager in the development and implementation of initial and ongoing training.
Reconcile the front-end financials on a daily basis.
Maintain organization and efficiency of the Business Office.
Key point person for taking staff call-ins during regular business hours.
Business Office Coordinator / Trainer Qualifications :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of two years previous experience working in customer facing enviroment, preferably in healthcare.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Proven ability to clearly communicate and provide instruction on operating procedures.
Proficient use of Medent EMR preferred.
