20.00 - $25.00 per hour (depending on experience)

The Business Office Coordinator / Train will not only be a front facing team member but will also provide operational and system training to Business Office representatives team members.

Business Office Coordinator / Trainer Responsibilities :

  • Answer and screen telephone calls in a courteous manner, and triage messages for Physicians, APP’s and other personnel in the EMR.
  • Schedule patient appointments according to established policies and procedures.
  • Obtain accurate information from patients and ensure all registration information is complete.
  • Collect and reconcile patient payments on a daily basis.
  • Key point person for questions, concerns in the day-to-day operations at the front desk and in the call center and assists with daily coordination of staffing throughout the department.
  • Train front-end personnel on operational procedures as well as use of EMR.
  • Assist the Business Office Manager in the development and implementation of initial and ongoing training.
  • Reconcile the front-end financials on a daily basis.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency of the Business Office.
  • Key point person for taking staff call-ins during regular business hours.
  • Business Office Coordinator / Trainer Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of two years previous experience working in customer facing enviroment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate and provide instruction on operating procedures.
  • Proficient use of Medent EMR preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of two years previous experience working in customer facing enviroment, preferably in healthcare.
