Assistant Front End Manager - Full Time in Santa Monica
You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings until 10:30 p.m. and weekends.
Purpose: To ensure store security, prompt, friendly customer service, physical store maintenance, and smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation of the store during business hours
- Provide support for front-line staff throughout the store during business hours
- Cover for missing employees when possible
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain security of store during shifts
- Ensure the safety of staff and customers
- Monitor all staff and provide guidance and direction as required
- Coordinate staff breaks
- Facilitate customer, staff, and vendor transactions
Requirements:
- Must have Supervisory experience in a Grocery store
- Ability to motivate and inspire employees
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Thorough understanding of store operating procedures and policies
- Flexibility in availability, including evening and weekend hours
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Willingness and ability to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job
