About the Company - Our client, a Melville, New York based service company, has an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.
Job Duties - In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a small team of processors in a high-volume environment.
- Reviewing client terms, working with internal parties regarding terms, contracts and discounts.
- Ensuring proper adherence to company policies and practices involving accounts payable cycle.
- Monitor current policies, suggest improvements and upgrades.
- Working with the Finance group during month, quarter and year-end closings.
- Reconciling balances and resolving discrepancies and issues.
Qualifications - Successful applicants will:
- Possess 4 years' prior experience in an Accounts Payable Managerial role.
- Have a strong desire to improve processes and workflows.
- Have the ability to manage, motivate, and effect change.
- Excellent communicative skills, strong PC literacy, especially in MS Excel.
- Prior experience working with a robust ERP system.
This is a consulting to hire opportunity, desirable start date would be Monday, May 5.
