- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with trip reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to drive product sales and growth
- Project management with special projects as assigned
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal government requirements
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality in all aspects of the company's business and financial information
- Perform other related duties as needed or assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar field desired, MBA preferred
- 3 years in relevant sales experience would be a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office (being highly proficient in Excel) and Rubicon software a plus
- Proven track record of delivering successful results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- In-depth industry knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in communication and negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Results driven: Focused on individual and team success by being accountable to deadlines, customer needs and collaboratively working together to achieve these goals
- Wire and cable industry experience strongly desired
