Job Description:

As an Associate Attorney at Coal Creek Law, you will play a critical role in providing legal counsel and support to our clients and internal teams. You will handle a variety of legal matters, including real estate transactions, contract negotiations, compliance issues, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of various areas of law, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage personal caseload and interact directly with clients and staff.
  • First and second chair trials as necessary.
  • Draft legal documents and pleadings without assistance.
  • Manage client intake calls and onboard new clients.
  • Maintain a client base and engage in reasonable community outreach programs as assigned by firm.
  • Keep current on applicable laws, cases, and regulations.
  • Maintain applicable professional licensure including required CLE.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wyoming bar and in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable areas of law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in case management and ability to engage in practice of law without direct supervision.
  • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years.
  • Colorado and/or Nebraska licensure
