Coalesce Management Consulting is currently sourcing experienced Schedulers/Planners for an exciting $1.6 billion greenfield power plant project in Louisiana. This high-profile natural gas-fired power plant will be one of the most efficient in the MISO South system, incorporating cutting-edge GE 7HA.03 gas turbine technology capable of utilizing up to 50% hydrogen.
Project Details:
- Location: Louisiana
- Investment Size: $1.6 billion loan guarantee from the Department of Energy
- Start Date: April 2025
- Scope: New build, 725 MW natural gas-fired plant
- Duration: 12-month contract
- Contract Type: Freelance (project-based)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors across multiple disciplines to track project progress.
- Identify and mitigate potential scheduling risks.
- Create reports and updates for stakeholders regarding project timelines and progress.
- Coordinate all project activities to ensure a smooth execution phase.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in scheduling/planning within large-scale CAPEX projects, especially in heavy industry or power generation.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with greenfield projects preferred.
