About the role

This apprenticeship program is full-time at 40 hours / week.
It will run from June 1st, 2025 - May 31st, 2026.
Eligible candidates are recent college graduates.
This is a paid apprenticeship program - through support raising.

Purpose of the position :

The primary goal of the CCO Ministry Apprenticeship Program is to equip emerging leaders with the skills needed for vocational ministry. This is accomplished through exposure to and training in the CCO's Campus Ministry Strategy, spiritual formation, biblical and theological training, leadership development, life-skills coaching, and vocational discernment. Apprentices live in a learning community committed to the same goals under the supervision of a veteran Campus Staff Mentor.

Qualifications / Requirements

Education : Bachelor"s degree required

Experience : Experience with / leadership in Christ-centered community preferred.

Job Description :

Campus Responsibilities

Ministry Training

Participate in all allocated training events, including : CCO New Ministry Staff Training, CCO Summer Conference, regular national / regional / local training rhythms as directed by supervisor (CCO ministry strategy, biblical / theological training, and leadership development)

Complete all practical ministry training assignments as directed by CCO Staff Development Department and CCO Supervisor

Complete an Apprenticeship Capstone Project which demonstrates the apprentice's growing ministry skillset and ability to develop a strategic response to contextualized ministry needs.

Spiritual Formation

Participate in spiritual formation rhythms / practices alongside the Apprenticeship cohort under the direction of the Staff Development Department and Campus Staff Mentor

Pray regularly and frequently for the ministry of the CCO, nationally and locally.

Vocational Discernment

Engage in longitudinal vocational training and discernment under the direction of the Campus Staff Mentor and CCO Talent Acquisition and Mobilization Department.

Professional Development

Attend all required CCO events.

Other Projects & Duties Assigned

Responsibilities specific to the gender-specific context of campus. (Spring break trip, gender specific ministry, etc.)

Exceed 100% of support raising ministry goals.

Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
