Position: Pricing Specialist                                           Salary: $18.31/hour

DUTIES:

Assists Buyer/Associate Buyer or Assistant Buyer to maximize sales and profitability of a given area of business through the implementation of a strategy, analysis and appropriate reaction to sales trend.  

 

Works under the general supervision of the Buyer/Associate Buyer or Assistant Buyer.  Operates independently within the framework of CSC/CGX policies, procedures, and regulations.  Exercises independent judgment and approach in routine and non-routine situations. Consults with supervisor on such issues as policy matters, deviations from normal procedures or unusual situations.   Maintains professionalism and courteous behavior at all times, works as a team player, and provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.  Performance is evaluated on operational performance, skills evaluations, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, leadership and established individual performance objectives.   

 

Maintains collaborative partnerships with vendors, internal and external colleagues. 

 

Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Minimum:

1.         High school diploma or GED.

2.         Two years general experience in merchandising, administration or an Associate’s degree.

3.         Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.

4.         This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.

 

Preferred (in addition to the minimum): 

  1.         A Bachelors Degree from an accredited university with emphasis in retail, business administration or a related field.

       2.         Experience working in a team/collaborative environment.

       3.         Experience with business analysis.

       4.         Advanced Excel skills.

       5.         Experience in Merchandise Information System in a multi store environment.

       6.         Experience in a retail store or E-Commerce environment in either sales, merchandising, or customer service.
