Forklift Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of operations and supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and deep reach trucks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist in maintaining a warehouse management system.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency within the warehouse.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal storage and retrieval of products.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
