Our team is committed to fostering strong, thriving communities, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to help us grow our portfolio by acquiring new community association management contracts.
Position Overview: As a Sales Representative for our Community Association Management firm, you will be responsible for generating new business by acquiring new community associations under management contracts. This role requires a self-driven, highly motivated individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with HOA boards, property managers, and community leaders across Florida. You will work closely with our management team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients and build long-lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Prospect, identify, and develop relationships with potential community associations in Florida that are in need of management services.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Attend industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and generate leads. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations to HOA boards, property managers, and decision-makers. Customize proposals based on the specific needs and goals of each association.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and services with prospective clients to secure new management contracts.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with potential and current clients, ensuring they understand the value and benefits of our management services.
- Market Research: Stay updated on local market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting community associations in Florida.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent client experiences after signing contracts.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track sales activities, leads, and conversions. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the real estate, property management, or HOA/community association industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Florida's HOA regulations, property management services, and industry trends is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse set of clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, set and achieve sales goals, and manage a sales pipeline.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within Florida as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Preferred:
- Experience working in community association management or property management.
- Knowledge of Florida HOA laws and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary plus commission structure based on new business acquisition.
