Required Minimum Skills
Exceptional customer service skills are required. The position requires patience, positive attitude, excellent time management, attention to detail and good communication skills, as well as the ability to handle stress and time pressure in a busy atmosphere. The applicant must have the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential nature and perform to a high level of accuracy. The applicant must be able to work independently and direct the flow of employees and clients with minimal direct supervision. The applicant must also display the application of principles and practices of basic office management and organization. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, accept directions, respond positively to feedback, carry out directives in an organized and timely manner, ability to prioritize, strong Microsoft Office Skills and other computer application skills, professionalism, problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication as well as grasp concepts quickly. The ability to work long and flexible hours. Clean background is required. Subject to drug screening.
Required Education and Experience
A Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years’ experience in office administration.
Preferred Skills
Ability to provide medical billing for insurance claims to clients insurance companies, following up on Accounts Receivable and coordinating collections on unpaid claims. Answer billing inquiries and assisting insurance companies and clients on accounts as necessary. Knowledge and experience with third party medical insurance reimbursement requirements.
Job Description
This position is a permanent full-time benefited position that is very high-demanding that goes at an extremely fast pace. The Clinical Administrative Assistant provides assistance to the Chief Executive Officer [CEO] and Clinical Coordinator by providing an efficient and responsive administrative, organizational, and logistical assistance to help accomplish day to day duties. Receive and direct clients, visitors and staff. The applicant will also assist in the on boarding of new clients, maintaining potential new client referrals and obtaining and maintaining client authorizations.
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. Maintain administrative, client, staff and company schedules. Manage staff schedule to coordinate work flow and client services.
