We are searching for an engaging, passionate, Administrative Assistant- TRIO Talent Search to help lead our College during this ever-changing Community College environment.

Essential Functions:
The administrative assistant performs clerical duties and works closely with the TRIO Talent Search Project Director maintaining the program’s budget log to ensure success in meeting the Program’s purpose and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains the program's budget log for the Talent Search Program.
- Monitors, maintains and submits timesheets for staff.
- Maintains student records including files, schedules, and contact information.
Schedules staff appointments.
- Works and collaborates with other departments to ensure proper billing and procedures.
- Refines and updates calendar.
- Types and files Talent Search correspondence.
Work closely with the Project Director to forecast future budget needs.
- Process reports for annual Talent Search performance reports.
- Operates and maintains office equipment.
- Assists in planning and preparing for all workshops, activities, etc.
- Utilizes various computer programs.
- Plans and designs banners, flyers, posters, brochures, program presentations, reports, graphs, and newsletters.
- Performs extra related duties as may be assigned by the Talent Search Project Director or Dean of Student Services.
- Submits monthly budget reports for the Talent Search Project Director to review.
Travel Requirements:
As needed by the TRIO Talent Search Program.
Environment:
The TRIO Talent Search administrative assistant will be able to conduct most functions from within their own office. There may be some outdoor activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree and three (3) years of related work experience or a combination of completed education and/or work experience equal to six (6) years are required. Ability to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, and empathetic manner. A highly motivated team player who can develop and maintain collaborative relationships and excellent customer service skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or relevant program software such as Blumen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education Degree Equals Associate's Details Equals familiarity with TRIO programs are preferred.
