What are the responsibilities and job description for the Authorization Specialist position at Coastal Cardiology?
Coastal Cardiology is seeking an authorization specialist to track, obtain, and enter authorizations for our BUSY cardiology group.
The perfect candidate should be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in medical authorizations, and able to work under very busy conditions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtaining authorizations for office visits, diagnostic testing, and/or hospital procedures
- Working well with co-workers, physicians, staff, outside vendors, and patients
- Dealing with a high volume of requests while maintaining professionalism
Salary depends on experience.
If you are given a a conditional job offer, a pre-employment drug screen will be required and must be passed before hire.
