IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Reports to Placement and Liaison Specialist (PALS) and/or Shelter Program Manager.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The On-Call Youth Advocate acts a shelter floor staff directly supporting youth voluntarily staying at a HOPE youth shelter in Aberdeen, WA. The shelter provides temporary residence, assessment, referrals, and permanency planning services for unsheltered youth under the age of 18.
This position will play a critical role in assuring the shelter’s efficient operation, working to sustain a safe environment and healthy culture needed to support successful stays and exits for youth utilizing the shelter. This position is on-call and requires flexibility to cover necessary shifts, as shelter operations are 24 hours.
