About this Position
The Digital Marketing and Communications Associate will play a critical role working alongside the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications and Sr. Marketing and Communications Officer to advance strategic initiatives that elevate Coastal Community Foundation's work and impact in communities we serve.
The Associate will assist the Sr. Director and Sr. Officer in establishing the CCF brand as a philanthropic leader in key markets, with localized content and relationship cultivation with key stakeholders, donors, grantees and members of the regional media. The Digital Marketing and Communications Associate will support the goals and activities of the Communications and Marketing team by producing quality content and design work for CCF publications, marketing materials and performing additional departmental administrative duties.

Brand, Marketing and Creative Responsibilities
- The Digital Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for assisting with the development, scheduling and production of marketing and communications projects and materials. The position also works across departments to coordinate outreach and communications for a variety of Community Foundation initiatives.
- As part of the Marketing and Communications team, be one of the key brand champions of the Foundation by adhering strictly to the CCF brand guide and help ensure consistent brand identity is employed throughout CCF materials and content, including those that originate in other departments.
- Craft clear and visually compelling digital content to illustrate CCF's impact, including blogs, digital ads, newsletters, annual reports and social media, that resonates with various stakeholder groups, including donors, community members and partners.
- Manage, through cross-departmental collaboration, CCF's internal website, ensuring information is up to date and that all relevant organizational messaging is accurate and engaging.
- Overseeing the organization and maintenance of an email subscriber list, assisting in crafting and sending targeted email campaigns and ensuring effective communication with various audiences through email channels
- Provide general Foundation website support with periodic updates and timely content development, adding new pages as needed, fixing broken links, optimizing search engines and monitoring analytics.
- Establish and manage an editorial calendar to plan and organize content creation efforts coordinating all projects within the department, through development of comprehensive project plans, task lists, and periodic progress check-ins.
- Execute social media strategies, under direction of Sr. Officer, to boost brand awareness and drive engagement of CCF's presence on all social media platforms, including developing, posting and scheduling content, as well as monitoring performance and reporting key trends.
