What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist-Pediatric Office position at Coastal Community Health Services?
We are currently seeking a professional to fill this role. The ideal candidate for this position has medical experience and excellent communication skills. As a medical administrative assistant you will be the first point of contact for any patient inquiries. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling insurance issues and working with other staff members to make sure patients receive quality care in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Receive patients and insurance information.
- Schedule appointments.
- Evaluate patient information for completeness and correctness.
- Enter insurance and demographic information into computer.
- Verify insurance coverage with insurance carrier before scheduling appointments or procedures.
- Troubleshoot insurance problems.
