Job Title: Compensation Director
Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Hybrid role. Must live local to the Raleigh area.
Your impact:
The Compensation Director is responsible for the delivery and support of pay practices and processes for all positions and jobs within the Credit Union as well as maintaining the institution's overall state of pay equity compliance.
As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be:
Job Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain a job architecture establishing job levels, families, functions, and compensation structure in accordance with strategic goals and compensation philosophy (30%).
Job evaluation: Develop and maintain a job evaluation process to ensure roles are accurately leveled, FLSA classified, and compensated based on responsibilities, requirements, and market data; work with sr. and executive leaders to arrive at pricing models; and price all non-chief level positions (30%)
Market analysis: Conduct regular market research and analyze salary survey results to ensure alignment with the organization's compensation philosophy and pay strategy; analyze compensation data and metrics to identify trends, business standards, regulatory changes, discrepancies, and areas for recommended change; maintain the compensation structure within the HR system; and prepare reports and presentations for leadership (20%)
Communication and collaboration: Deliver audience-appropriate information to employees to ensure the organization is well informed on compensation structure, job evaluation, policies, and procedures; serve as the point of contact for any compensation related questions or concerns; provide direction and guidance to management on the interpretation of job related practices and in the resolution of related issues; and provide guidance and support to customers, payroll, HR, and talent acquisition on all matters related to compensation (policy, practice, special cases, etc.) (20%)

Experience: At least five years of experience in compensation design, analysis, and administration; including incentive based compensation
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or other related field
