Position Summary:
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day social media strategy across all platforms. From content creation and scheduling to community engagement and performance tracking, this role plays a vital part in growing our brand and connecting with our audience online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop campaigns that align with brand messaging and business goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and conversations—engaging with followers in a timely, on-brand voice.
- Track and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, etc.) and optimize strategies based on insights.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, tools, and best practices to keep our social presence fresh and relevant.
- Support influencer collaborations, giveaways, and cross-promotions with partners.
- Assist with photo and video shoots when needed and help curate UGC (user-generated content).
- Help maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and voice across all social platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience managing social media for a brand or business.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools for light design work.
- Passionate about trends, culture, and community building.
- Highly organized, creative, and proactive.
