Job Description:
The Laboratory Manager is a key position responsible for overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations, including personnel, testing, quality standards, and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to clients in explaining laboratory analysis results
- Assume responsibility for ensuring the authenticity of laboratory certificates of analysis
- Receive and follow up on client orders, reporting status and progress as needed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of sampling techniques and laboratory procedures
- Perform testing and analysis, as well as other duties as assigned by management
- Oversee Quality Control of laboratory solutions and standards, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Maintain laboratory equipment necessary to service customer requirements
- Supervise laboratory personnel, responsible for their time and attendance, and ensure accurate entries into LIMS databases
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of laboratory testing results
