What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) position at Coastal Home Veterinary Services?
We are specifically seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician with the ability to perform technical, mechanical, and medical procedures. One main task of a Veterinary Technician is to be able to lift and hold 50 pound animals multiple times a day. A successful candidate will have experience and a solid understanding of animal biology.
The Veterinary Technician will:
- Be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the day
- Have knowledge in animal restraint
- Clean and stock the hospital
- Fill prescriptions
- Do laundry
- Clean cages
- Clean public and staff areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
