What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Ambassador position at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens?
The Guest Experience Team is the face of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. As a Guest Experience Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your primary function will be to greet guests with a friendly demeanor and respond to any questions or complaints with courtesy and patience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a warm welcome to the Gardens
- Process admissions and reservations using the Point-of-Sale system
- Count cash and process credit card payments
- Assist with membership development and process membership applications
- Rent mobility devices such as motorized scooters and wheelchairs
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the admissions desk, updating your knowledge of the Gardens' layout and offerings, and supporting a culture that welcomes all people to the Gardens.

- Excellent customer service skills

- Able to stand for long periods and operate a Point-of-Sale computer
