We are a busy Multi Specialty, Neurology Pain management group seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to fill a dual role for MA and Front Desk Receptionist. This is an in-person, full time, Monday-Friday position. The duties of the Medical Assistant consist of:
- Provide assistants to providers within their scope of practice
- Responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Follow infection control policies and procedures
- Responsible for cleaning exam rooms
- Collect specimens for all necessary testing
- Interpersonal skills needed to interact with patients, family members and healthcare team
Responsibilities for the Front Desk position:
- Greet and welcome visitors, patients, and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is always clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Respond to phone calls, answer questions, and handle requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide support to the office team by answering questions, taking messages, and completing tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Assist with scheduling appointments.
- Utilize computer systems to maintain accurate records.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
