Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers run smoothly and efficiently, enabling all employees to perform their tasks effectively. The IT Support specialist will troubleshoot issues, manage environments, and provide customer maintenance and install services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for desktop and laptop issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Manage help desk tickets using tools such as Remedy and Jira to track and resolve user requests.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN connections and firewall settings.
  • Conduct routine checks on computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
  • Provide training to staff on new technologies and software applications as needed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in desktop support and computer management.
  • Experience with help desk operations, including ticketing systems like Remedy or Jira.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as LAN setups and firewall configurations.
  • Excellent software troubleshooting skills across various operating systems and applications.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
