Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. This role requires proficiency in various CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in bringing innovative designs to life, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Duties
- Develop and produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software, including Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate schematics.
- Create mechanical design layouts and assist in the drafting of construction documents.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.
Experience
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or similar tools is essential.
- Experience in drafting schematics for mechanical design projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques may be beneficial for visual presentations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and revisions.
