">Position Summary:
">The Physical Therapist Assistant screens, treats patients/residents, documents services and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident mobility and activities of daily living.
">Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provides professional Physical Therapy services. ">
- Completes documentation accurately and timely. ">
- Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives. ">
- Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibly. ">
- Maintains adequate and up-to-date knowledge of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting specific clinical and regulatory practices. ">
- Complies with facility policies and procedures. ">
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. ">
- Must have one year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred). ">
- Must have current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in facility-specific state. ">
- Must have current certification in Basic Life Support. ">
- Reliable transportation required. ">
