Stone Yard Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Yard Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the yard, ensuring efficient management of materials, inventory, and transportation logistics. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise staff and coordinate activities related to shipping, receiving, and dispatching. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain processes and experience in warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise yard operations to ensure efficient flow of materials and products.
• Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate dispatching of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Implement best practices in materials management and transportation management.
• Train and mentor staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
