Responsibilities
Your Role:
As a Data Entry Specialist you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the accurate entry of new customers and revising existing customer contracts into the appropriate operational systems.
From entering crucial data into our systems to maintaining comprehensive records, your attention to detail and dedication will help us deliver unparalleled service to our customers.
- Enter and update data related to waste collection, disposal, and recycling activities into company databases
- Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents
- Maintain detailed records of customer accounts, service requests, and billing information
- Generate reports and summaries based on collected data for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data entry procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:

- High school diploma or equivalent or additional education or training in data entry is a plus
- Proven experience as a detailed data entry specialist, preferably in the waste management or a related industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using data entry software and other relevant computer applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
