We are seeking an experienced Teller Operations Supervisor for our Mineral Spring Avenue Branch in North Providence! This role is responsible for ensuring effective and accurate functioning of teller operation activities through the performance of a variety of technical operational duties at the assigned branch and in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operational activities of the teller line, prepare teller schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Serve as an information and problem-solving resource by addressing a variety of questions and situations, especially those beyond the expertise or authority of tellers. Promptly resolve questionable transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all branch cash boxes to include vault, teller cash dispensing machines, ATMs, and coin machines. Perform tasks relative to cash shipments, order and maintain cash within established limits, package and return excess cash.
- Reconcile branch each day, including ATMs, Teller Cash Dispensing Machines and Coin Machines, if applicable. Support tellers with end of day balance process.
- Process Check 21, ensuring all check items are properly imaged, captured and secured.
- Ensure compliance with Coastal1's Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Policy (BSA) and related procedures, Member Identification Program, and Office of Foreign Assets Control screening and record keeping requirements.
- Assist with training of Tellers to ensure understanding of, and compliance with, all pertinent policies and procedures.
- Secure teller drawers in vault and secure vault each night. Activate security devices, and surveillance cameras. Ensure all teller line equipment is functioning properly.
- Organize teller line in efficient manner, ensuring area is fully stocked with supplies kept in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Cultivate a positive work environment and high morale through fair treatment and good judgment with interaction of staff.
- Perform member transactions accurately and promptly, discretely, and confidentially. Maintain professionalism during all interactions with members and employees.
- Utilize all opportunities to cross-sell products and services and to promote various Coastal1 products and services in a professional and positive manner. Ability to meet sales goals is required.
- Provide support and assistance to Managers with management of sales program.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
- At least 3 years demonstrated successful work experience as a Teller with a strong background in customer service. Must have in-depth knowledge of all teller line operations and functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with time management/organizational/multi-tasking skills.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts required.
- Must be able to focus and pay attention to detail when processing a high volume of work, occasionally work under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be capable of accurate and timely performance of duties
- Familiarity with PC’s and basic office software such as MS Office.
- Must have the ability to learn new and changed procedures and methods for processing member transactions.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills, demeanor, appropriate business appearance, and demonstrated knowledge of Coastal1’s products and services, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to train, develop, and supervise an efficient, effective, productive, motivated teller staff
- Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat Credit union image.
- Ability to handle confidential information securely.
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions of Coastal1 to coordinate solutions.
