Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing social media accounts for our marine industry clients, creating engaging content, and helping to drive online brand awareness. If you have a passion for social media, video editing, and boating, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to grow brand presence and engagement.
- Manage social media accounts across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.).
- Create engaging and high-quality video and photo content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Edit video and photo content to ensure professional standards and consistency with brand messaging.
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions to foster community engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in social media, video production, and the marine industry to ensure content remains relevant.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok etc.) and their best practices.
- Video editing experience is a plus (Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve,Final Cut Pro, CapCut etc.).
- Experience in content creation, photography, and video production.
- A passion for the marine industry and being on the water is highly encouraged.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Compensation:
Pay is project-based and will be discussed during the interview process.
