We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of products throughout the facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations and supporting our commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Safely transport materials within the warehouse while adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery while maintaining organization in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and shipping and receiving.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform order picking tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Understanding of OSHA standards related to forklift operation and workplace safety.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
