We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely manner.
- Assist customers with order picking and provide updates on freight status.
- Utilize the AS400 system to manage customer orders and track shipments.
- Collaborate with the operations management team to resolve any logistical issues.
- Support supply chain activities by coordinating with various departments.
- Handle materials handling inquiries and provide solutions to customers.
- Engage in category management discussions to enhance product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of order picking processes and freight logistics.
- Proficiency in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of operations management principles within a logistics environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and materials handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
