The Customer Service and Logistics Representative is responsible for coordinating delivered and customer pick-up orders from start to finish (order entry to invoicing) via rail, tank truck, ISO, barge, and vessel. This role includes order process administration, logistics, invoice control, and vendor cost and invoice management/accruals.

Activités
The Customer Service and Logistics Representative is responsible for coordinating delivered and customer pick-up orders from start to finish (order entry to invoicing) via rail, tank truck, ISO, barge, and vessel. This role includes order process administration, logistics, invoice control, and vendor cost and invoice management/accruals.
- Customer onboarding: SAP contract setup, price updates, rail setup, HSE loading and offloading checkup.
- Manage domestic and export orders.
- Order management: approve/enter orders in TC2, verify product availability, credit approval, send loading instructions, perform SAP functions, verify sales invoice prices, ensure timely export documentation.
- Scheduling: allocate transportation modes, optimize unit usage, ensure product compatibility.
- HSE: resolve incidents with Polymers HSE, management, and commercial contacts.
- Payables: correct invoice pricing/quantities, issue re-bills, process debit/credit adjustments.
- Month-end tasks: reconcile sales in TC2 with SAP, accrue unprocessed invoice services, reconcile distribution center statements with third-party statements and systems.
- Provide backup for export and domestic desks.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with experience in logistics / scheduling (rail car, trucking, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, product shipping to and from locations, etc. preferred. In lieu of degree, minimum 3 years of logistics/scheduling experience is strongly preferred (rail car, trucking, DOT regulations, product shipping to and from locations, etc)
- Microsoft Office (high skill level with Excel), SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Import and export regulations, understanding of INCO-terms preferred.
- Exposure to refined product trading terminology, hedging basics preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - knowledge of a foreign languages a plus (Spanish, French)
- Demonstrated skillset in customer service, customer focused mindset
- Team player mentality with the demonstrated ability to build and maintain good work relationships
- DOT hazardous materials certification preferred in accordance with 49 CFR 172 Part H. Training provided in lieu of certification prior to employment.
