We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations in Sealy Texas. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and manage workflow on the assembly line.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Train and mentor production staff on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble, fabricate, and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in production processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
