Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Pharmacists in providing high-quality care to patients in an independent pharmacy setting. Your expertise in processing prescriptions, billing insurances, answering the phones and assisting patients questions/requests are essential in providing safe and effective medication management.

Responsibilites:

-Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to pharmacy protocol

-Answer the phones and assist patients/doctors

-Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, including controlled substances

-Preference for immunization certified, although not a must

-Efficiently process medication orders and manage pharmacy operations including the synchronization program

Skills:

-Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on compassionate care

-Proficiency in medical terminology relevent to a pharmacy

-Familiarity with pharmacy operations within a retail setting

-Ability to work effectively in a hig paced environment while mainting attention to detail and mainting a clean work area

-Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and pharmacy team members

Pay: $16-$19 per hour

Expected Hours: 35-40 per week

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Coats, NC 27521: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
