What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT -REQUIRED) position at Fuquay Pharmacy?
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and profiles
- Process prescription orders and insurance claims
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Skills:
- Pharmacy technician experience
- Strong patient service skills
- Register and cash handling experience
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is HIGHLY PREFERRED
We are open Monday - Friday 830am - 6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm, closed Sunday. Weekends will rotate.
We offer PTO after 90 days, NO medical benefits
