Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages following recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Monitor alcohol intake and ensure responsible service
- Handle cash transactions, comunicate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Skills
- Previous experience in bartending or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of TOAST POS system is a plus
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in various settings such as upscale casual and fine dining establishments, or banquet halls
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote specials
