Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As a Claims Office Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.


Reporting to the Claim Manager, the Claims Office Coordinator supports the office in completing administrative tasks supporting the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills. This role is responsible for supporting our office operations located in South Burlington, Vermont.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares reports for the management team.
  • Greets office visitors and escorts vendors or notifies appropriate staff of visitor arrivals, when applicable
  • Manages paper and envelope inventory for the office.
  • Reconciles UPS and vendor invoices.
  • Scans documents and loads them to appropriate systems or shared folders.
  • QA’s loaded scanned documents.
  • Reviews returned mail and forwards live checks to VT Finance Department
  • Monitors and Orders office and kitchen supplies.
  • Researches and resolves unidentified and misdirected mail.
  • Maintaining postage meter, including filling meter, ink replacement and meter troubleshooting.
  • Preparing mail for delivery to electronic data management vendor.
  • Sorting/delivering all incoming mail within departments, including coordinating inter-office mail.
  • Preparing outgoing UPS packages and certified mail for pickup.
  • Printing, stamping, and mailing letters.
  • Coordinates outgoing mail with fulfillment vendor.
  • Performs other related admin duties.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Perform various administrative tasks related to services and bills for our health plans as needed. Training to be provided.

Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes and computer systems, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Adept and efficient data entry skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to integrate and learn new systems.
