TN Custodian

Summary Clean and empty trash from break rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and other common area in buildings owned/leased by Malibu Boats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply high energy, self motivation and initiative to learn and be trained on how to clean
• Ability to safely and effectively use non-motorized and motorized cleaning equipment
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Complete required checklists after cleaning is complete
• Daily job duties will be varied and dynamic to allow for cross-training
• Workload will be tracked via schedules and assignments requiring responsibility and accountability for quality and timeliness of completion
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE
• Practice good housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to work at, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs., traveling up and down stairs, sitting, squatting and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the work day. Physical exertion is required.
