Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as skid-steers, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, drill rigs, and cranes with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operations.
- Engage in onsite safety planning and adhere to the company’s safety protocols.
- Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to the direct supervisor in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of project sites and equipment.
- Follow the directions of the General Foreman or Foreman, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively.
- Safeguard work environments by exercising stop work authority when necessary.
- Proficiency in operating various types of heavy machinery.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining focus.
- Effective communication skills for clear instruction adherence.
- Class A CDL preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment including skid loaders, excavators, front-end loaders, and/or bulldozers.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions.
