Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently under the supervision of the General Foreman or designated lead personnel.
- Engage in pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Actively participate in safety planning and uphold the company's safety standards during all operations.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work sites.
- Exercise stop work authority when facing unsafe conditions.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including skid-steers, excavators, front-end loaders, and bulldozers.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to remain focused under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Ability to follow instructions and ensure compliance with safety measures.
- Class A CDL is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and travel as necessary.
