A leading Global Advisory Firm is seeking a hands-on Treasury Consultant to join its expanding team. As a Treasury Consultant, your responsibilities will involve business development, liquidity reporting, cash management and reviewing internal staff deliverables. The ideal candidate for the Treasury Consultant position will have 5 years of experience in treasury or a related field, along with prior experience in a client facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering tailored treasury solutions to address their specific financial needs.
- Build and enhance long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, providing ongoing treasury advice and support.
- Actively engage in business development, identifying opportunities to expand the scope of services and enhance client relationships.
- Work with clients to analyze cash flow forecasts, develop strategies for liquidity management, and optimize cash reserves.
- Provide recommendations on working capital management, including short-term borrowing and investment strategies.
- Support clients in establishing efficient banking structures to facilitate seamless global cash management.
- Advise clients on risk management strategies, including foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate hedging, to protect against financial volatility.
- Design and implement financial risk management frameworks tailored to the client's needs.
- Support the execution of risk management transactions, such as FX and interest rate hedging, for clients.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts and actively contribute to new client acquisition efforts.
- Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals and presentations that showcase the firm’s treasury solutions.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and research to support client outreach and new project acquisition.
- Collaborate with Treasury Solutions Consultants to deliver high-quality analytical reports and treasury solutions to clients.
- Provide analytical support during project delivery, ensuring that client needs are met and objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to the creation of in-house treasury models, frameworks, and documentation used in client solutions.
- Support the implementation and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and related technologies for client organizations.
Qualifications:
- Business-related degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics) required.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) or an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or consulting, with a client-facing and business development focus.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Experience in cash management, financial analysis, risk management, and banking operations.
- Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), Reuters/Bloomberg, FX platforms, and internet banking tools.
- Strong analytical abilities, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively and present complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of navigating high-level client discussions and negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, develop client proposals, and contribute to the growth of the business.

Salary : $135,000 - $185,000
