Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy to adult individuals through the practice
- Treat issues such as anxiety, mood disturbances, relationship issues, life transitions and more
- Participate in clinical supervision and collaborate with additional treatment providers
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and compliant manner
Qualifications:
- LMSW/ must be licensed in NY (open to recent graduates)
- Previous experience in clinical social work/mental health counseling related fields
- Excellent clinical aptitude/skills
- Training/experience in using a particular treatment modality/interest in learning a psychodynamic approach to therapy
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
Receive excellent supervision and mentorship from an psychoanalytically trained supervisor; learn how private practice works- from garnering referrals to consultation to caseload maintenance, develop your own therapeutic style and voice; have agency in determining clients and your schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
